You must have a St. Croix Yacht Club member with a minimum of 2 years
membership sponsor your application. Do not submit an application without proper sponsorship.

Please note, submitting this application electronically, does not grant you membership. The application will be brought before the Board of Directors as noted below and voted upon. Applications are presented monthly at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors. These meetings are closed to non-members unless invited by special invitation of the Commodore or Board of Directors.

The St. Croix Yacht Club does not guarantee accessibility of power on their beaches. Power availability is strictly first come, first serverd. Review the Bylaws for power use rules. Use of generators while beached is prohibited.

All new members must agree to participate on a social/party committee during their first year of membership. Please review the list of social events. Note that some events are Auxiliary functions. Your application will not be considered without a committee designation.

Note: If the boat is co-owned, then all members must apply for membership to the St. Croix Yacht Club. Membership is based by person, not be the boat, and only those persons holding a valid SCYC Membership will be allowed to utilize the beaches and other related resources.

Membership Fees

All new members of the St. Croix Yacht Club are required to pay a one-time fee to the Capital Investment Fund. The fund was established to assist in capital improvements and maintenance of our properties. This fee is in addition to the annual dues. The fee for the Capital Investment Fund is $2000,00. New members are allowed to choose a 1, 2, or 3, year payment option for the fund. There will be an annual finance charge of 9% if you choose the 2 pay or 3 pay option.

New Associate/Junior Members will pay 50% of the current Capital Investment Fund. The initial payment of 20% is due with application and the remainder will be due in 20% annual installments for 4 years. Membership will be revoked if extended payments are defaulted.



Member Classifications

Resident Boating Membership
- ($520.00/yr)		Includes those members whose boats are on the St. Croix River or Mississippi River between Red Wing and the Hastings lock.
Non-Resident Boating Membership
- ($224.00/yr)		Those members who keep their boats other than the above.
Associate/Junior Membership
- ($520.00/yr)		Sons or daughters of a current member in good standing.
Social Membership
- ($188.00/yr)		Those members who do not own a boat and are not Honorary Members.

Capital Investment Options

Full Payment
- ($2,000.00/yr)		Full, one-time payment for Active Members.
2-year Option
- ($1,090.00/yr)		Membership dues are paid in two installments, over a two year period.
3-year Option
- ($726.00/yr)		Membership dues are paid in three installments, over a three year period.
Associate/Junior
- ($1,000.00/yr)		Full, one-time payment for Associate/Junior members.

I understand that submittal of this application does not guaranty or require acceptance by the Board of Directors and I allow the Board of Directors to review this application and discuss their findings at their Board meetings. If accepted, I agree to abide by the Bylaws and Rules of the St. Croix Yacht Club and the rulings of the Board of Directors is final. I also agree to attend the new member orientation where, upon completion, I will receive my membership identification materials. I am aware that I am prohibited from accessing Club facilities including beaches prior to attending the new member orientation.
